Good security for your home is not just having a quality alarm system. It is having good quality locks on doors and windows AND keeping those doors and windows locked at all times you are not using them.
From these stats windows from 60% of the entry to a home with a third of these through unlocked windows. To beat this we recommend A Glass Break Detector for your alarm system - they are a specialised detector designed to trigger the alarm system when a window is broken. The problem is you need a few around your home.
Entry through the roof. Fit cabin hooks or similiar to your manhole covers. Something that will stop someone from just pulling the manhole cover up and dropping down into your home.
4) Review of Private Security Act 2004. The Victorian Government is undertaking a review of the Private Security Act. Aegis Security will be providing a response to review.
Note:Telstra is withdrawing their Securitel alarm type monitoring service from 31st December 2009. All Aegis clients using the securitel system will be notified in writing and offering different solutions to this problem.
(Securitel is a higher level of alarm monitoring used by business to protect their premises.) If you are a current Securitel user with another alarm monitoring company please call or email for a very competative quote to install and monitor your alarm system using the better G.P.R.S. system.
