Good security for your home is not just having a quality alarm system. It is having good quality locks on doors and windows AND keeping those doors and windows locked at all times you are not using them.
From these stats windows from 60% of the entry to a home with a third of these through unlocked windows. To beat this we recommend A Glass Break Detector for your alarm system - they are a specialised detector designed to trigger the alarm system when a window is broken. The problem is you need a few around your home.
Entry through the roof. Fit cabin hooks or similiar to your manhole covers. Something that will stop someone from just pulling the manhole cover up and dropping down into your home.
3. Tip for the month. Business Owners
The R16 or any of the Reliance (NX) range of alarm panels allow you to have numerous user codes.
Every employee who has access to your premises at night or out of hours should have their own access code.
The Reliance 16 or any of the Reliance panels are easy to program. The only thing to remember is which user number has been assigned to each individual user. You dont have to remember the code, thats the staff members responsibility.
The reason is simple. Your alarm panel allows you to track who comes back to your premises at night or on the weekend. You may have an employee who is using your equipment, power and stock to produce work which they then sell for their own profit.
By keeping tabs on who comes into your premises 'out of hours' you can cut down employee theft.
Studies have shown employee theft makes up at least 50% of all stock losses to companies.
Reduce this cost by properly using your alarm system.
Call Aegis Security 9763 1988 to discuss how our alarm systems can save you money.
If the above has been of some help, any feedback is most welcome.
